SIAC Men’s and Women’s Tennis and Golf Championship Set for Peachtree City, Ga (Press Release)

The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) is proud to announce the 2017 Men’s and Women’s Tennis and Golf Championship will be held in Peachtree City, Georgia. The host site will be the beautiful Peachtree Tennis Center for the Tennis Championship and Flat Creek Golf Course for the Golf Championship.

The 2017 SIAC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championship dates are set for April 18th and April 19th. The top four teams from the east and west division will compete to earn their title of SIAC Champion.

The Peachtree Tennis Center is a facility that is nationally recognized by United States Tennis Association for their wide range of accommodations. This facility offers 24 courts, all-week access, and they have hosted a variety of championships ranging from high school to other conferences such as the Sun Belt Conference as well as the NCAA Division III Junior College.

The 2017 SIAC Golf Championship dates are April 17th through April 19th where all participating teams will attend the championship including: Miles College, Benedict College, Kentucky State University, Morehouse College, Paine College, and LeMoyne-Owen College.

The Flat Creek Golf Course offers a 27-hole course which was designed by Joe Lee. The course opened in 1968, and offers a variety of features such as three diverse nines, a variety of elevation changes, and beautiful views of the Flat Creek.

SIAC has held Men’s and Women’s Tennis and Golf Championship across the eastern part of the United States. These events feature exciting multi-day events, team-style competition, beautiful facilities, and fair competition for all contestants.
